Twelve flats over five floors, last touched in 1974. We stripped the failed cement render back to the brick, rebuilt the facade in lime, and set slim steel windows deep into the reveals so the original proportions came back. The stair hall was the argument: the owners wanted it tiled, we wanted terrazzo poured in place. Terrazzo won, and it is the part everyone mentions.

The roof was insulated from above so nobody had to move out. Handed over in March, three weeks late, entirely because of the windows.
