Zbraslav House

A 1960s house with good bones, a cold north wall and a front door that opened straight into the living room. We insulated it externally, rendered it a flat warm grey, and added a spruce porch that gives the entrance somewhere to happen.

Inside, the ground floor became one room with a polished concrete floor laid over the new underfloor heating. The kitchen is spruce plywood built by the same joiner who made the porch.
